Our Story
In 1998 Dave Sandoval started Industrial Security Solutions, Inc. out of his garage with little more than a passion for outstanding customer service and a rolodex of loyal partners. He had been in the EAS industry for years but knew he wouldn’t be satisfied with what he was offering his customers unless he started something completely new.
In just 8 years ISS grew into a thriving, multimillion-dollar EAS business, becoming the nationwide leader in bespoke EAS solutions and a global source tagging provider.
That same year Certicom purchased the company with the commitment of maintaining the same focus on partnerships and custom solutions that ISS was founded upon. Those values continued to please the company’s partners, and over the next 3 years, ISS experienced record-breaking growth. ISS was eventually purchased back by its founder.
In 2012 ISS debuted the Aegis system, a flexible, high-performing door mounted system manufactured in the USA. It quickly moved to the front of the product catalog as major retailers made the Aegis their system of choice.
Inc. Magazine named ISS one of the fastest growing private companies in 2015.
Five years after the success of the Aegis system, ISS rolled out a completely new line of EAS systems featuring the most cutting-edge AM and RFID technologies on the market. This full suite of systems boasts increased security, online cloud integration and above industry standard detection fields.
2023 marked another major milestone in the development of the ISS product line with the introduction of the ACE line, featuring the same suite of styles and solutions with major upgrades to detection and efficiency, and a reduction in installation requirements and footprint.
Today ISS continues to focus on partnerships over business deals. This philosophy has garnered a long list of highly productive relationships with large retailers across North America.
ISS remains the only provider in the US with a focus solely on EAS/RFID technologies and services. Combined with decades of EAS experience shared among its leaders, this gives ISS’s partners the expertise and confidence they expect from an EAS provider.
